Vietnamese lychees are a delicious fruit which will add flavor to fruit salads. Lychees are eaten fresh or dried, but canned lychees have become very popular.

There are two crops of cucumber and gherkins in North Vietnam, one in winter (from November to January) and the other in spring (from March to May). The ideal condition of temperature for cucumber growing is around 20-25 degrees C.

The largest areas of cucumber and gherkins cultivation in Vietnam are Hanam, Hung Yen, Bac Giang with total quantity harvested annually 100,000 tons.
